In July 2021, compared to the same period in 2020, traffic at the Bologna freight village increased both by road and by rail.
In particular, the number of inbound and outbound trucks increased by 5%, while the number of trains and wagons increased by 1% and 7% respectively.
Compared to June of this year, the situation was stable for the road sector, which recorded a 1% increase, while trains grew by 6%.
The cumulative figure for the first seven months is clearly up on last year, especially for rail vehicles.
Against an increase of 18% in lorries, trains and wagons handled in the three terminals of the Bologna interport grew by more than 35%.
