In August 2021, the traffic flow recorded at Bologna Freight Village increased in terms of trucks and rail.

In particular, compared to the same period in 2020, lorries grew by 11% this year. The growth in the number of trains (0.3%) and wagons (3.2%) was more modest.

On the other hand, the trend in the number of lorries (August 2021 compared to July 2021) is down by 28%, due to the natural decline in lorries over the summer period. Similarly, trains and wagons contracted by 26%.

The cumulative figure for the period, given the previous months of growth, continues to show a positive sign, particularly for rail freight.
