In November 2022, compared to the same period last year, Interporto Bologna recorded an increase in the volume of goods moved by train.
In fact, both the number of trains (+19.1% compared to November 2021) and the number of rail wagons handled inside the railway terminals (+31.2% compared to November 2021) increased.
In contrast, truck traffic recorded a slight decrease of around -3%.
From an economic point of view, all sectors do not show substantial differences, demonstrating a stationarity of the volumes recorded compared to last month.
Analysing the entire period January-November 2022, given the growing volumes in the rail sector recorded over the months, the resulting dynamic is very positive and stands at 9% growth for the number of trains and 13% for wagons.
On the other hand, the number of trucks transited fell by 1%.
