In July 2019, truck and rail traffic to and from the Bologna freight village grew both on an economic and a trend basis.
This growth, which has characterized the whole of 2019, is especially evident when analyzing the cumulative period January-July 2019, which highlights how much the railway sector has achieved stability by identifying Interporto Bologna as a provider of rail services that qualify its function as a gateway to support intermodal long-distance transport.
Compared to the same period last year there is a 15% increase in trains and a 23% increase in railway wagons.
