Interporto Bologna's terminal rail services will be further strengthened with the arrival of a new CZ Loko locomotive.
This will further accelerate rail shunting and increase the performance of the terminal, which has seen a steady increase in trains handled: +27.4% in 2020 compared to 2019 and +18.3% in 2021 compared to 2020.

The operation of this new locomotive will improve the timing and reliability of shunting by Interporto Bologna SpA and Terminali Italia, which operate through the HIL Network Contract within the maritime terminal and the continental terminal within the infrastructure.
