In July 2020, while the truck sector shows a stationary flow compared to the same period of the last year (-0.9%), the rail sector shows a significant increase in the movement of both trains and railway wagons.

In particular, trains grew by 38.6% compared to July 2019 and by 31.7% compared to a month ago. This strong increase generates, as expected, a positive value also for the cumulative period (January-July) which shows a value of +12.3%.

As far as railway wagons are concerned, the trend dynamics are slightly lower than those of trains, but still remain very positive (+19.6%). Compared to last month, this sector confirms the same growth as trains (+31.6%).
