The offer of railway services in Interporto is growing, and Bologna is enriching itself with an intermodal connection to the Ruhr production area. The new Chieti - Bologna - Wuppertal service and vice versa, which will be active starting from the beginning of September 2018.
The service will initially foresee a couple of trains per week, rising to three in six months. Like the trains already operating in Bologna Interporto, train passage services will be offered with the sale of slots both "Terminal to terminal" and "Door to door", the collection and delivery directly to the customer's premises and wagons equipped also for the possibility to transport semi-trailers.
