The new logistics centre of the South Tyrol company FERCAM was inaugurated yesterday at the Bologna Freight Village.
The warehouse covers a total surface of 38.000 sqm, for a 16.5 million € total investment.
This new branch employs 170 people: 44 office employees, 42 warehouse employees and 84 drivers.
As declared by the company's CEO, Thomas Baumgartner, "we have made a major investment in what will become one of the main logistics centres in Italy and we will continue to contribute to the growth of the country".
FERCAM has been operating in the Emilia-Romagna region since 2000 with 3 branches: Bologna, Parma and Modena.
